Introducing: Michelle Eveleens

I was born on june 7th, 1985, in Amsterdam. But I grew up in the province of North Holland, in a town called Kwadijk. After high school in Purmerend I followed a higher education Law at the University of Amsterdam
This turned out not to be the right choice for me! So I changed my focus to Social Geography and Planning at the Utrecht University and intend to specialize on real estate. In september 2009 I will start with the Master Planning at Utrecht University.

As a child, just like my sister Yvette I wanted to ride a pony, but I couldn't handle a bigger pony yet. So, my first rounds on a pony were on good old Rosson of Transy's back (who died in 2001). Soon after that, I got a real fast white one, which was my most important goal, riding fast! With this Welsh 'A' named Monica I rode around between the youngsters wildly.
Now for a few years already, I very much enjoy riding horses. At the moment I'm riding Pasteur (v.Rubinstein )in the National competition. As a follow-up of Pasteur I have mare Anoraline (v. Samba Hit 1), which currently is used in the breedery.

Besides my busy schedule with my study, riding and taking care of two horses, my work and a busy social life, I almost every day find a little time for the Shetlanders. Since 1994 I own my own breeding pony, Iris van de Amstelhof. Now this pony has never been excelling at examinations but did got her first prime every year! Breeding with her is a different story, however. Remarkable enough is that her daughters are great, but the sons aren't! With her daughters Nina en Whise Girl van de Amstelhof I try to expand her family and if possible, improve them.
