In the stable Pasteur tends to attract as much attention as he can get, and brushing and polishing is what he likes best. He is that much impressed with himself and he'll let us know everytime. At the same time he is single minded and not everybody is able to get along with him. He loves to eat and is fond of bananas and Evergreen cookies.

Pasteur was bred and trained at the Dressuurstal van Baalen. When he was 7 years he debuted in the PSG with Marlies van Baalen. After that he has been trained further and brought to the level of Young Riders by Daniëlle van Aalderen. From march 2005, I started training him. At first I could take lessons at Dressuurstal van Baalen, but due to the distance and the time needed to get back and forth, I stopped with that at the end of 2005. Meanwhile, Pasteur was successfull several times in class Z2.
From november 2005 I am training with Anouk Hansen, which openend a complete new perspective for me!
Anouk has trained and rode more horses to the 'Light Tour' like Paso Doble, Rhapsody, Geraldo and Maykel. And also she has reached the Grand Prix with Enrico de Grand Prix . Besides that she has been training several KWPN stallions for stable Wijdewormer in Kwadijk.
With Anouk I started from scratch and this resulted in a better training progress from the start. This came out in the competition results, as well. In the indoor seison of 2006, we became second in the circle and second champion of the province of North Holland, class Z2. At the National Championship in Wanroij we did great too, but due to the fact that I got the fourth, seventh and 25th place, I ended up with an average rank of 12. The outside season of 2006 went reasonable well. With the new rock kur by Oot Productions we managed to do well in the kur on music in CHIO Utrecht, Achterhoekse Paardendagen and the Almelose Ruiterdagen.
When we got back from that we saw that Pasteur was not really well but what seemed to be the problem? It seemed to be an old back lesion. The points for the zz-zwaar are gained and we are training for the transition.
